💎 Jewellery Top Tips – Quick Do’s & Don’ts
As our weekly newsletter productions grow, we will make this a regular feature, but for right now, our expert goldsmith Lee wanted to share some simple tips to help you keep your treasures in top condition:
✅ Do:
Store jewellery separately to avoid scratches.
Give gemstone pieces a gentle clean with warm soapy water and a soft brush.
Have claws and settings checked regularly to prevent stone loss.
❌ Don’t:
Wear jewellery while swimming, cleaning, or doing heavy DIY (chemicals and knocks are not friends to your sparkle).
Use harsh cleaners — they can damage metals and gemstones.
Leave repairs “for later” — small problems can turn into costly fixes.
